Laughter is the Best Medicine is in its seventh year as a black-tie gala to benefit Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers. This year’s event will be on Saturday, October 30, at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa. The evening begins at 5 PM and includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, gourmet cuisine, music, and entertainment.

James P. Connolly  will be our Entertainer. James is a stand-up comedian with a unique sense of humor and provides clean, family-appropriate shows with “intelligent humor.” He has performed for variety of comedy venues and is one of the most-played Comedians on the Sirius XM Comedy Channels. James also makes overseas trip to entertain the troops.

Last year's gala was a resounding success!  On November 7, 2009, more than $272,000 was raised in support of Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers' programs, projects, and services.  Over 530 guests enjoyed an evening of gourmet cuisine, dancing, a silent auction, and musical entertainment by "The Rat Pack is Back."
