Plans to Build a Five-Story Tower Addition
Philanthropy will drive the planned master facility build-out at Chandler Regional Medical Center, an expansion of a 153,000 square-foot five-floor tower designed to add approximately 100 beds. It will also increase capacity of the emergency department, add six additional operating suites, 30 intensive care, medical-surgical beds, and include a new chapel.
The expansion priorities have been strategically identified based on increased community needs and existing healthcare capacity in the east valley. This major capital project will commence in first quarter 2012 with various phases scheduled for completion within the following 18 to 24 months.
