Plans to Build a Five-Story Tower Addition
Philanthropy will drive the planned master facility build-out at Chandler Regional Medical Center, where 100 beds will be added, with specific focus on broadening Cardiovascular services and expanding the Emergency Department. The centerpiece of the project is a five-story tower that will house areas dedicated to general and Cardiovascular ICU, Surgery, Telemetry, Emergency, Imaging, and other related services.
The expansion priorities have been strategically identified based on community demand, capacity of existing facilities, and resource-driven feasibility assessments. This major capital project will commence in fiscal year 2009 with various phases scheduled for completion from 2010 to 2012.
